Imagination with Ann Bartlett

Ann Bartlett from Purton, Swindon entertained our members on Thursday 15th April with her demonstration entitled "Imagination".

Her accessories were a refreshing change and members lucky enough to win the raffle received beautiful and colourful arrangements which hopefully fired their imaginations.

Three such arrangements went home in one car!!! Unfortunately - not mine.

Nature's Bounty with Janet Cooper

Janet from Woodford Halse demonstrated with lovely flowers and unusual containers, taking aspects of the sun, wood, metal, water and jungle

January 2010 Meeting

For our January meeting, four members of the committee, Susan Hinde, Kate Phipps, Sally Williams and Barbara Upton undertook to demonstrate with great trepidation!!

However all went well and was much enjoyed

GOLDEN FANFAYRE

Bloxham Flower Club took part the Golden Fanfayre Week by placing an arrangement in Bloxham Art Shop.

The arrangement was done by Susan Callendar and Susan Hinde.

Open Meeting - "All That Is Christmas" - Andrew Lloyd

On November 19th the Christmas demonstration by Andrew Lloyd was greatly enjoyed by more than 180 members and visitors in The Great Hall, Bloxham School.

It was a great success and a donation of £300 was made to the local Lunch Club which provides meals for the villages over 70’s each Tuesday.

Our competition title for January is - A Winter Scene.

Bloxham Flower Club held a Strawberry Cream Tea on Saturday 4th July and as a result a cheque for £200-50p was sent to Breast Cancer Care.


Bloxham Flower Club's October Meeting

We had a very enjoyable evening with Lynda Stamp for our October meeting

Varied flowers and foliage with a selection of lovely designs.

Next meeting will be on November 19th in the Great Hall. Bloxham School at 7.30 with All That Is Christmas and Andrew Lloyd

The September meeting of Bloxham Flower Club was much enjoyed when Joan Southerton demonstrated "Through the Garden Gate!

Interesting designs with good colour combinations and flowers with garden foliage.

Floral Madness with Carolyn Gordon Smith

Members and friends enjoyed an Open Evening with Carolyn Gordon-Smith from Broadway recently.

The title of her demonstration was Floral Madness and wewere thoroughly entertained with unusual designs and lovely flowers.
