Norton Canes Flower Arrangement Club
Although we are a small club, members are enthusiastic. We often arrange flowers in venues around the village, members attend NAFAS meetings regularly in Rugby and details are passed on to members via a monthly newsletter
We take part in Flower Festivals around the country, make trips to Historic Houses and Gardens
Our monthly meetings are well attended, where members can watch demonstrators or take part in a practical evening
A warm welcome is expressed to everyone so if you're scrolling our wenpage, note when we mmet and come and join us.
MONTHLY MEETINGS ARE HELD AT THE TRINITY METHODIST CHURCH, POPLAR STREET, NORTON CANES, CANNOCK
Meetings take place on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m.
Photograph Competition |
Every year at Norton Canes Flower Club we have a Photo Competition. Can you download these pics and report onto our club site.
Every year club member Pauline Stabler organises a Photo Competition which is judged by an outside adjudicator. This keeps members active with their cameras thoughout the year.
This year the classes were.
Class A
A Close up on beauty
Class B
Over the Hills and Faraway
The winner of both classes was club member Gill Crutchley.
Also at the end of November we had a very successful Christmas Presentation at our local Prince of Wales theatre. The demonstrator was Lesley Smith. |
