Last year Nuneaton Flower Guild chose Riding for the Disabled as it's local charity.
On a visit to the stables, in June, it was realised that money was desperately needed to purchase another horse.
At that stage enough money had already been raised to buy Kizzi and in honour of our President, Rose Lady Daventry, Kizzi was renamed Kizzi-Rose.
The photograph shows Lady Rose, Lyn Pirrie (Chairman), Guild members and RDA staff celebrating the unveiling of a plaque above Kizzi-Rose's stable.
A cheque for the total amount raised will be presented to Riding for the Disabled at the Guild's Open Meeting in November and is expected to be in excess of £3000.
