'I'm in the Mood' -Vanessa Higgins
At our January Club meeting the club welcomed Vanessa.
She was dressed resplendently in a recent Mother of the Bride outfit which she had made herself for a recent wedding.
She gave us some delightful arrangement's depicting 'Love, Anger, Joy, Depression and Tranquility, which were much appreciated by

'Magic of Christmas' - John Chennell
At our very well attended December Christmas meeting, John Chennell, National Demonstrator and planner for NAFAS Westminster Abbey
Golden Anniversary celebration, gave us a fantastic demonstration entitled 'Magic of Christmas'.
As always, John's ideas, knowledge, expertise and ease of presentation and design, was enjoyed by all our members and really set the
Christmas feeling with his great designs.

Christmas Decoration Workshop
In November, Ann Horsley provided 12 members of our club with a a well prepared kit to make Christmas decorations for our homes.

The title of the festival was British History through the ages

June 2009 Meeting
Demonstrator Janine Hall - 'Where Rabbits Dream'
At very short notice - 3 days, Janine Hall replaced our planned demonstrator due to illness
She presented her new ,'Dem' entitled 'Where Rabbits Dream'
Her designs were very imaginative and full of fun. She made all the members laugh and enjoy her Musical Hall act, complete with her dressing up box,
unique designs interpreting her theme.
We as a club thank Janine very much for stepping into the breach at the Eleventh hour and providing us with such an entertaining afternoon

March 2009 Meeting
"Elizabethan Style'
At our March meeting Ann Horsley gave a talk on EElizabethan costume which was followed by a mini fashion show by Viyella. The majority
of their new collection will be available in their Bridge Street shop at the end of April. Members were pleased that this shop is remaining
in business, which is excellent news for the town

January 2009 meeting Tim Round - Flotsam and Jetsam
Tim returned to our club again with is wonderful designs, well depicting the title.
His enthusiasm and anecdotes on how he came by some of his mechanics (often from his own auction rooms) was highly entertaining.
All club members were captivated with the whole afternoon experience and look forward to his return in the future

On 16th July the Flower Club Annual coffee coffee morning was held at the home of Gilly Rushton which raised some much needed funds for the club.

Workshop Day - April 2008
Another successful workshop was held at the home of Gilly Rushton on 29th April,
Gill Thomas, (one of our club members) gave 12 members a teaching session on back to basics - (Triangle) by popular request.

March Meeting - 'Sounds Evocative' with Janine Hall
Janine Hall gave the club a very entertaining demonstration entitled Sounds Evocative and she really lived up to her title!!!!!
