South Midlands: 16th Area of NAFASNational Demonstrators![]() JAYNE EDMONDS![]() Jayne Edmonds has been a member of NAFAS since 1997. She is a teacher and demonstrator, and passed her National Demonstrator Test in 2007 Jayne has always been an artist, and many of her designs continue to take their inspiration from decorative modern art. Jayne enjoys competitions, and her use of colour has caught the judges’ eye on many occasions. Her exhibit at the National Competitions 2006 was awarded ‘NAFAS Colour Trophy’ and the ‘WAFA Award’ which means Jayne will be competing at the world show in Pakistan in March 2008. She teaches at Solihull College within the community, teaching adults of all ages, even having fun with the children at summer college, where we do flower arranging and make moss sculptures. She also qualified as an Area Demonstrator and a City & Guilds tutor in 2004. Her achievements so far!· Representing the SMA of NAFAS with a club exhibit at ‘Rejoice’—Flower Festival at Westminster Abbey 2009. · Demonstrating in Spain! ·2008, Co- Designing a big Flower Festival in Market Harborough ·A keen competitor, gaining a third prize at the Nationals. ·Teaches C&G Beginners class in Leicester. ·ember of Centrix and Floral Education Association in the South Midlands Area. ·Member of Flower Club of Market Harborough since 1982 An active committee member, including being a past-Chairman. CAROL FARMER ![]() Carol trained to become an Area Demonstrator in 2006, passing her test in the same year Carol cannot remember a time when flowers and design have not been a part of her life. From a family of florists, Carol was inspired at an early age!
